After 20 years in health and human services, I knew I needed a shift—something that aligned more deeply with my values of family, creativity, kindness, and peace. Making the leap into part-time salon work has allowed me to reconnect with what matters most: supporting women, expressing creativity, and helping others care for themselves.
At Duo Tones, I’ve found a community that values connection and collaboration over competition. I love meeting new faces, hearing their stories, and being part of their “me time.” As an extrovert, it fills me up to hear about birthdays, milestones, and everyday joys. It truly feels like a neighborhood here—and I’m grateful to be part of it.
